Achievements & Experience

During her Master’s program, Sophia researched return-to-running readiness following anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, exploring running biomechanics and functional performance testing to support safer rehabilitation and return-to-running decision-making. Her postgraduate training enables her to integrate the latest research evidence into clinical practice – especially for runners with injuries wanting to return to peak performance.

Outside of clinical practice, Sophia enjoys horse riding. Horse riding has enhanced her understanding of posture, balance, coordination, core stability because of the complex interaction between rider and horse movement. Through riding, she has developed strong observational skills and ability to analyse movement patterns, helping her identify compensatory strategies, biomechanical inefficiencies, injury prevention and performance optimisation – skills she brings to her patient care.

Committed to lifelong learning, Sophia regularly pursues continuing professional development and has undertaken additional training in modern acupuncture, ballet-bone stress injury management and movement-based rehabilitation to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for her patients.
